JIU JITSU 
FUNDAMENTALS

Our Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals classes are designed to build your foundation in the sport. Their focus is on developing the movement patterns, techniques, positional knowledge, and strategic advantages that highly effective jiu jitsu practitioners use. Fundamentals are taught in the traditional kimono as well as no-gi.

ADULT JIU JITSU + GRAPPLING

​Jiu Jitsu is  "a science of control leading to submission”. Our regular classes are designed for students that have a solid grasp of the fundamentals are are looking to take their game to the next level. Classes are taught in the traditional kimono as well as no-gi. 

COMPETITION TEAM

Our squad of competitors compete at the local, regional, and national level. We help prep competitors with specialized classes and rules breakdowns to make sure you're ready to step on the mat.

MEET HEAD INSTRUCTOR,
ANDRÉS RODRÍGUEZ SEGRERA

Andrés Rodríguez Segrera is the Head Coach of Acros Jiu-Jitsu. With nearly a decade of coaching experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and MMA, he has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, helping them achieve their goals both on and off the competition mat.

 

In 2022, Andrés was awarded his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt by Jonas Andrade and Cicero Costha, combining high-level technical expertise with a strong passion for teaching and athlete development.

 

Throughout his career, he has competed in numerous tournaments and represented his team in national and international federations and events around the world. He remains actively involved in the global Jiu-Jitsu community and is committed to the continued growth of the sport.

In addition to his coaching and competitive experience, Andrés is an international Jiu-Jitsu referee, officiating for organizations such as the AJP (Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro).

As the technical leader of the team, Andrés is dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes and coaches while maintaining the highest standards of instruction, discipline, and performance.
